Friday we spent the day going to the doctor. Yes, pretty much the whole day due to a combination of circumstances that I get tired just thinking about.

I slept the sleep of the drugged on Friday night because K made me drink Nyquil. I haven't had Nyquil in its liquid form in a very long time. It tastes like Zambuca. Kind of. It also causes me to pass out and be dozy until the following afternoon. Maybe next time, I'll just drink the 'buca.

So Saturday was pretty much a blur to me. I do recall that K baked a cake. We also screened some of the new shows we recorded last week. Shark and Justice (Sorry, Jack!) are out. Smith is in, for the moment, so long as nothing bad happens to the cat.

I made up for it Sunday. Took the 'quil at about 20:30 on Saturday night, so the worst of the effects wore off fairly early in the morning. When I woke up, I was cured. My cold was no more. That's what rest and orange juice with ginger ale can do for you. On Sunday we:

1. Went grocery shopping.
   
2. Put everything away.
   
3. K did tons of laundry while I made pasta sauce for later in the week and tidied the kitchen.
   
4. Bathed the cat.
   
5. Had a nap.
   
6. Wrote porn. I need to come up with a name for this DiNozzo/Kellerman series. I suspect there will be more where that came from.
   
7. Ate kick ass sandwiches made from last week's leftover pot roast. I am loving this crock pot!

Speaking of Mike Kellerman. I need some screen shots. I became the keeper of the HLOTS Screencap Archive when various people retired, but the screencaps are old and very low res. I need some pictures of what Kellerman might look like in Training Day and Reunion. I've looked for good shots of Reed Diamond in the "Bones of Contention" episode of Numb3rs, the "Stronghold" episode of SG-1, and the CSI episode "Bite Me". So far, I haven't come up with much that I can work with. And I NEED a Tony/Mike icon. Any and all suggestions welcome.

And now it's Monday and we both have to work five full days this week. Oh, the pain. *grin*
