Inside Story

This is boring, dont read it

I woke up today and my back drivers side tire is flat, not flat enough so that I cant slowly drive to work but still.

First call,
So im looking at this customers account for 15 minues trying to figure out why its giving a cingular rep. at walmart these errors when shes trying to upgrade the phone. Turns out shes a fucking AT&T customer, so I have to migrate her over. So I do that in a few seconds and then she says she wants to cancel a line on her account, then add a new one. First off, my department doesnt cancel lines, second why would you cancel a line, then start a new line with the new number? Aside from being impossible its a stupid idea. So after arguing with this ignorant walmart bitch for another 10 minutes it totals my call time to almost 30 mins, when my average is about 4.

ok, bad start, next call...
this douche in a radio shack who can barely speak english wants to take his name out of his boyfriends name and create his own account with the same number without the bfs permission. Impossible, but instead of just telling me the simplified version so I can know to tell him he cant do that, he leads me in a fucking goose chase without answering my probing questions. Then argues with me about it, as if I personally run the systems at cingular. I tell him hes fucked and has to create a new number, so he has to, then has me searching his neighboring cities for a 708 area code for a good 10 minutes till i realize hes trying to customize his phone number and there is no fucking 708 area code in his region. Its not even that its a big deal but i have to find a mentioned city in a list of thousands, click into the sublist, do all this shit to find out what the area code for that area is, see its not 708, then back out and do it over and over with every area he gives me. Isnt it common sense that you cant have an AREA code for an area you dont live in?! So I have to yet again argue with him about and that and he hangs up on me. Call time - almost 30 minutes.

your killing me idiots
