Kagome is the one who awoke him from his 50 year long sleep, and though their adventures together he has come to care for her greatly. His indecisiveness and horrible ways with women keep them from hooking up, though. At Adstringendum, Inuyasha was relieved to find Kagome alive and well there, especially since Naraku was close by. He lived with her and Sango for a time, and their relationship went on like usual (sits and all). She left the city, however, leaving Inuyasha to pine for her alone in their empty house.
