it's been awhile
OH RL GOOD.
i've come to discover just how lucky i am. there are two major reasons for this which i will present to you now.
#1: i have an awesome mother. we've had our ups and downs, and a lot of my friends have heard the worst (and thus dont have the best opinion of her), but when i look at our relationship in contrast to many others' relationships with their parents, i would have to say i hit the jackpot. i can't count on my hands how many people i know of my age who can't tell their parents anything. they lie, they sneak around, and they ultimately end up living two separate lives in terms of inside the home and outside. i can tell my mother everything. she knows everything. and she's okay with it. she may not agree with some things i do but she accepts them as a part of who i am, and understands that i need to figure things out for myself. i think, if anything, thats the most important part of any relationship, be it friend-friend, parent-child or a romantic relationship. which brings me to my next point.
#2!: i have two of the best friends anyone could ever ask for. i trust them with my life, and i love the fact that they tell me everything even if they know the truth will hurt. and if im being a bitch. and vice versa. we've seen more of eachother lately, and i love every minute of it. i just hope we dont drift with school starting back up again. becky and lauren, i love you both very very much.
