Mother Nature, you're on notice.
It's raining so much that the quad has flooded. We don't have a quad anymore, we have a lake. A lake that I, unfortunately, have to walk through in order to head to my classes for the day. In fact, not only do I have classes to attend, but I'm sick, and my head hurts, and it's cold, and on top of all this, I have to sing tonight.
That's right. My head is congested, and I can't breathe out my nose, but I still have to sing. I can't even get my upper register out, but I still have to go and pretend to be Southern because after the next couple weeks, we won't get to rehearse at all again until the middle of January. It blows, but such is the life of college theater.
I don't want to sing. I don't want to have to pretend to be Southern. I didn't even want to do this stupid show because it's the most depressing show ever.
Screw it. I don't care if it's the last day of classes, I'm taking some NyQuil and going back to bed.
