As I am a Person Of A Certain Age who remembers the oldskool sodapops from the 70s and early 80s I tried the Pepsi Throwback this weekend and I don't remember Pepsi tasting like that. Maybe it is because I am a Coke person and the only time I had Pepsi was when I had a stomachache as a kid. The Mountain Dew Throwback I remember. I hope they keep the sugar versions up because I don't care what they say about HFCS, there IS a difference in the taste and I know that I could barely finish half the bottle of Pepsi Throwback before my brain said WHOA MAN THAT'S ENOUGH SUGAR. With HFCS Pepsi I'm still thirsty after I drink a whole bottle. Maybe that is the point? Formulate it so that people drink the shit all day long.

NEWS on Shounen Club: I keep waiting for the day that Yamapi looks like he enjoys being with those kids on stage, and NEWS wo Abake was just as painful as the last one. Except for Ryo because he obviously just doesn't give a fuck and after his one comment sits back and lets the rest of them yammer on.Compared to this, the Ousama no Brunch with Arashi that the Aiba fangirls are screeching at Nino about is a lovefest. Arashi is either truthfully BFF with each other or they're much better actors in public.
Smile: I watched episodes 1 and 2. Damn, Vito can't get a fucking break, can he? I mean, he's just got out from under the false drug charge and now the school is going to blame HIM for the food poisioning because he's a dirty Filipino yadda yadda. Grrrr. I can tell he's also scared shitless about this high school girl hanging around him too. I'm just cringing now waiting for Oguri Shun to arrive, haha.
The Quiz Show 2: The keitai novel thing amuses me. Wasn't Koizora one? idk. Anyway, this episode was different and yet it was the same thing- contestant storming out, MC Kamiyama having his brainsqueezy fit, Honma doing his "heh heh hehhh just as planned" face. I think I want to find out how all of these people ended up on the same fucking riverbank at the same time. But I want to see more Honma/Kamiyama. Yar.
Chance!: Mmm, OK. I think this one will go on my "will marathon while knitting" list and wait for the season to be completed.
ToGetHer: N'awww I LOVE THIS ONE. It is a bit raw and real for a fluffy shoujo-type drama, innit. I've watched up to ep 7 so far. I'm glad the subbers have gone with the uncensored version because I've read that the censoring takes out a lot of MARS's storyline, whice is actually more interesting to me than the triangle between MARS, MoMo and the Rain Man, OK.
I was surprised to see the scene where MARS is being coerced into taking his clothes off by a sleazy female director. It would have probably been even more realer if the director was a man... but when he goes back home and breaks down in front of MoMo.... jeez. I didn't expect Jiro to have that in him since I've only seen him do the doofy sidekick or the doofy action figure character. Well, I wonder if he can get his fame back?
Black & White: Hmmm, I don't know about this one. I don't like cop/crime shows. I have been promised slashyslashy with this pair so I will wait a bit?
