Yeah. And avoid the ones that only have a large small medium set, they're assuming their fabrics stretch two or more inches, and it fails.
I was just at JCPennys - they used to always include a translation of sizes into inches in the catalog - and even then my size varied from 10-16 based upon the brand of jeans, with some jeans literally not having a size I'd fit in.

A rule of thumb is that we have four adult sets of sizes: Petite, Junior, Misses/Women, Plus/Womens. Most people fit in to the Misses category, but not everyone. The Junior sizes are odd numbers with narrow ratios and the Misses sizes are even numbers with wider ratios. I can't find the little diagram of where to put the measurements...

The problem comes that manufacturers have alot of drift, wanting to flatter higher sizes with low numbers and skimp on fabric at the same time.
