"So that's just it?" Jenny lifted a brow, taking her confrontational stance once again and folding her arms, masking the trepidation. "You're just gonna kill me and that's it? I thought you wanted a fight."

"Oh, I do. But, let's face it. You versus me?" Her grin was taunting, condescending as she went on, "Not much of a question there about who's gonna win, huh?"

Jenny just shook her head confidently. "No, there's not." She moved away from the door while keeping an eye on Willow, the two of them circling each other like a predator and prey. Though who was in which role at the moment, she couldn't tell.

"You're juiced," Willow commented.

Without missing a beat, Jenny returned, "So are you." She circled around her a bit further as they moved back toward the center of the room. "Hardly a fair fight when you drain all the dark magic books we have in stock, wouldn't you say?"

Willow just shrugged one shoulder. "Maybe." She narrowed her eyes. "But then again, so is bulking up on the power of eleven other witches."

Jenny faltered a bit at that, which Willow saw as an opportunity.

"Oh!" She feigned surprise, advancing on Jenny. "Wondering how I knew that?" She took a few more steps forward, and this time Jenny played submissive, backing toward the shelf of glass figurines. "You must've forgotten I've got that whole 'telepathy' trick down," she smiled as she advanced another few steps.

Jenny felt her back connect with the polished mahogany of the shelf and she just barely glanced over her shoulder at it before meeting Willow's eyes again.

"I can still read your mind," she taunted happily.

"You can, huh?" Jenny just barely flicked a smile back at her, tilting her head and matching Willow's malevolent tone. She narrowed her eyes wickedly, "Then read this," and held out her hands, blasting Willow with a beam of blue energy and sending her flying across the room.

The girl slammed into the stepladder with a pained grunt before hitting the floor on her stomach. Her lip was split open and she glared murderously as she pushed herself up, seething, "Neat trick," through clenched teeth.

Jenny smiled. "Thanks."

"Your pun was a little weak, though." She tilted her head, back on her feet and wiping the blood from her lip. "Still... A-plus for effort there, Miss Calendar."

Jenny almost flinched at the nickname... normally such an endearing trait of Willow's, though this time there was only malice behind the sound. Willow either didn't notice her reaction or ignored it completely as she went on.

"Next time though, maybe try doing something like this." With that, she shot a green blast from both hands, and Jenny didn't even have a second to react before it hit her in the chest and sent her crashing back into the shelf of glass figurines, the entire thing toppling back with her.

Everything crashed to the floor, glass shattering just inches below her as she landed with a groan on top of the hard mahogany shelving, her eyes sliding shut as the pain coursed through her. Her body ached and, as she rolled over, she was almost certain she'd broken a rib from the fall.

When she pushed herself up, glaring at Willow, the girl just smiled. "Had enough yet?"

Jenny shook her head, stood up on the toppled shelves on shaking legs and growled, "Not even close," before she shot another burst of magic at her.
