Giles grumbled but did as they told him, knowing Jenny would have his hide if he refused medical attention... ironic a thought as that was, given her own stubbornness. Look who's talking, Giles. :)
I love whenever these two have to go to the hospital, because their immediate concern is ALWAYS the other, even though they're hurt too. THEY'RE JUST SO CUTE!!!! <3
Nervously, he shifted on his feet, eyes flicking over her again. "Yes, but what about--"
"Rupert." Her tone was strong, but laced with a smile as she cut him off. "Trust me."
He met her eyes and she smiled into them, her dark eyes glittering in the dim light of her hospital room. She took his left hand in both of hers and settled his palm against her abdomen.
Meeting his eyes, she told him meaningfully. "Everything... is okay."
Giles felt his breath leave him in a rush of relief, a smile tugging at his lips. "Oh," he exhaled, his heartbeat righting itself once again. "Thank God."
He kissed her then, gratefully and desperately, as their hands remained entwined over her abdomen.
And back to the beginning of OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!!!
The second I read that, my hands went to my mouth, and I started bouncing my legs up and down out of sheer giddiness. The only words that came out of my mouth were:"OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD!!!!"
I'M SO HAPPY WITH LIFE RIGHT NOW!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
YOU COMPLETE ME.
NEVER LEAVE ME.
EVER!

Giles took a step forward, shoulder-to-shoulder with his wife as tiny, invisible but tangible sparks leapt between their magically-enhanced selves.
FUCK. YES. (pardon mon français)
And it was in the last one when they held hands and I forgot, and I'm like: "Oh, I'll just mention it in the feedback for the next chapter."
BUT THEN YOU MADE HER PREGNANT AND ALL SENSIBLE THOUGHTS WENT FLYING OUT THE WINDOW.
But yeah. They're AWESOME!
Reminded me of when they first tried to see if Giles was a conduit for her, and they ended up in opposite sides of the room.

Thanks. :D I always loved writing that part of their dynamic -- even when they're injured, they can push that aside when they're concerned about the other.
