This was painful to read. And I mean that in the very best possible way. Hehe, don't worry, that was how I took it. When I set out to do this chapter, I set out to make it painful, if that doesn't sound weird at all. LOL. I wanted to go through the whole range of emotion with this one, to really give the "cliffhanger" from the last one a sense of closure (or close to it, anyway).

Even the making up was bittersweet. Not because they still harbor ill feelings, but just because the situation still exists and will continue to exist and you KNOW it's gonna come up again, at some point. Exactly. And I am just biding my time until I get to unleash some of that angst/tension again.

I keep going back and forth on whether or not I want Buffy to find out. As do I, lol, and I'm the one that's eventually gotta make the decision. Still don't know what way I'll go. And I agree with what you said. It could create some interesting dynamics between the four of them, but at the same time... I worked so hard to move Jenny and Buffy to a place where they could be close and be friends without Buffy doing the bratty 'daddy's-little-girl' thing with Jenny. Not sure I want to throw them back in that place. IDK IDK IDK. I'll probably decide last-minute, depending on what I'm feeling would be best for the story at that point. LOL.

I'm so very happy that you liked this, though. This one was really a labor of love for me, and I was so excited to get to share it with all of you. Thank you, as always, for your warm comments. :)

Not sure I want to throw them back in that place. I understand completely! Their relationship had such a natural evolution to it, I can understand not wanting to throw it back to its early stages. If only Buffy weren't such an emotional spaz, lol.

I'm an angst whore, I admit it. Oh I definitely love me some angst. :D

If only Buffy weren't such an emotional spaz, lol. EXACTLY. Hahahaha, that's the perfect way to describe Buffy. Because I honestly thought about revealing the Jenny/Angel thing to Buffy (have Giles tell her or something) but then I just thought of the way Buffy would handle that information: #1, she would make it all about her. That's just a given. And #2, she would revert to acting like a snotty little bitch about it, and treat Jenny like shit just like she did in season two. Ridic. Ridic. Don't wanna go there, lol. So I think this'll end up being one of those what-Buffy-doesn't-know-won't-hurt-her things. :D

The more I think about it, the more I think that's probably a wise decision on your part. I mean, if there were a way to inform Buffy and then also have her uber jealous bratty feelings somehow evolve, it'd be one thing. But Buffy's reactions to Angel never really changed, did they? She's always just gonna be stupid irrational when it comes to him.
