[BGM 'Step and Go']

Good morning. This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Every Friday I respond to the messages received on this show.

First up is one from Cool Breeze Nao of Saitama.
"Oh-chan, have you ever eaten fried cocoa bread? It's on my school lunch menu. It's fried bread sprinkled with cocoa and sugar; it's really good!"

Man. I feel like I've had this before? Have I? Cocoa, right? I don't remember if it was on my school lunch menu but I've had it before once or twice somewhere.

I remember it was really good. Mm. Man, I like fried bread! Looks like there isn't any today, though. Fried cocoa bread... No? No. There isn't any, right? Right. (laughs)

I'll go look for it and eat some next time!

Next, from 3rd year middle-schooler Saki-san.
"22nd September is my last sports day in middle school. I've been chosen as the representative for the inter-class relay for the first time. I'm going to be the first runner, so I guess reaction speed is important. During the Johnny's Sports Days in Ohno-kun's time, how did you bring out your reaction speed?"

Eh? I didn't do anything notable in the Johnny's Sports Days at all, though. Did I? (laughs)

Ah, I did! Man, it was more than 10 years ago, the flag-capturing one. We had to lie down, then... I was really fast back then. But I was slow at running. So they were like, "On your marks... BANG!" I was quick to react, so I remember gradually outpacing everyone. Yeah.

But yeah, that first reaction speed is important. In any case, I was just thinking, "It's gonna go, it's gonna go!" the whole time. The main thing you have to watch out for is to do a false start, though. Good luck!

Next, from Mou-chan of Adachi, Tokyo.
"The other day, I went to the zoo for the first time in ages. Even though I'm now 20, I get really excited when going to the zoo. Ohno-kun, what animals do you like at the zoo? Incidentally, I like cheetahs."

Ohh. That's cool. Cheetahs can run at like 100km/h, right? Eh, you didn't know? Wasn't it like 107km/h? (laughs)

When I was a kid, I liked cheetahs because they were fast. But like, I guess I'm an orangutan or chimpanzee guy? Mm. But like, I like cheetahs and lions too. Hearing them roar gives me goosebumps! They're scary!

And then there's penguins, they're funny! They all stare at one point, then the snow builds up on their heads and they don't move at all! And then sometimes there's one who'll slip and fall. (laughs) It's fun observing them.

I'd like to go to the zoo again someday.

Next, from Moeka-san.
"I'm not good at mornings. Thanks to Ohno-kun's radio show, I manage to drag myself up somehow, but I'll occasionally end up hitting the snooze button. On Fridays, I have my club morning training sessions so Ohno-kun, please wake me up! If Ohno-kun will wake me up, I'll be able to get through my day with high spirits."

Is that right?

Wake up, Moeka!! Don't snooze! Go for your morning training! Don't dawdle like that, seriously! Okay? Moeka, are you awake? Moeka!! MOEKAAA!!

And so with that, the weekly Friday messages have been answered. I'll be awaiting your mail. The address is arashi@fmyokohama.co.jp. I'll be waiting for you to send me lots of messages.

See you next week; this was Ohno Satoshi!
