[BGM 'Cosmos']

Good morning. This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Every Friday I respond to messages received on this show.

Right, first up is one from Anonymous Hope-san.
"Last week, when I went to the hospital to have a medical checkup, I was waiting my turn when the nurse called, 'Ohno Satoshi-san!' Everyone in the hall including myself went, 'Eh!?' and looked up. The real Ohno Satoshi who stood up turned out to be a real gentlemanly old uncle." (Ohh.) "Oh-chan, have you ever met anyone with the exact same name and gender as you? Also, have you ever met anyone with the exact same name as the other members?"

I see. Really? That's kinda cool. (laughs) I kinda want to meet him.

But as for the exact same name... I've seen it before. Um, there's someone born in the same year as me. An artist. Ohno Satoshi. He has an extra kanji for his first name, with the '史' of '歴史'(rekishi; history) or something though. "Ohno Satoshi-san, born 1980". He draws stuff. Pictures on a circular theme, if I remember correctly.

I kinda want to meet him now, speaking of which. It's pretty rare, isn't it? I didn't see when his exact date of birth was though. But his first and last name was pretty close. And he likes art too! Man, I want to meet him. If we turn out to look alike too, wouldn't that be super funny? We'd be like twins! I'd like to meet him someday.

Right, moving on. One from Nazuna-san.
"I've found a job!"(Oh!) "Starting next year, I'll be working at a doughnut shop. I didn't think I'd get the job straight away, but I did, which was great. I'd be happy if Satoshi-kun would congratulate me. If Satoshi-kun would kindly do so, I'll work hard at my job starting April!"

Ohh.

Well, Nazuna-san! Starting from April, make sure you sell loads of doughnuts!

Next, one from Kazuko-san.
"My 6-year-old daughter lost her first tooth. A few days ago, the tooth had been all wobbly. She complained it hurt, refused to eat meat and only ate her side dishes. When I was a child, my bottom teeth were crooked and had to have a tooth taken out from the upper jaw. When I went to the dentist, he had given me a cute container to keep my tooth. I'm doing the same for my daughter's tooth. Ohno-san, do you have any memories of wobbly loose teeth? Did ever you throw the fallen tooth?"

Eh? Do you throw them? I don't think I ever did.

What I remember is... I think it was a tooth from my bottom jaw? It was wobbly, so you kinda get all absorbed by it, right? Then you'd poke it with your tongue and then push it back in place, right? And no matter how much you wobbled it with your tongue, it'd stubbornly stay there.

Once, um, we had to tie a string around it and pull it out. Mm. Well, I think it was probably my mom or my sister who did that. And then. There was a tooth trying to grow under that bottom tooth, but you can't just do it by force, right? I don't know if it's because we pulled it, but then it was like there's an extra tooth in my bottom jaw.

But I'm quite fond of it. (laughs) I like touching it with my tongue.

When was it again? I think it was when I was doing Kaibutsu-kun? There were bits where I had to open my mouth up wide, right? Naturally, it was visible. Like, "Ah, it's there! There it is! It got filmed!" It often gets filmed in all the good bits.

Well, for those of you who want to see it, please go ahead and watch it again!

And so with that, the weekly Friday messages have been answered. I'll be awaiting your mail. The address is arashi@fmyokohama.co.jp. I'll be waiting for you to send me lots of messages.

See you next week; this was Ohno Satoshi!
