Thanks, and I hope it was a VERY good morning to you! (I liked the quote emmagrant01 used to have at the top of her LJ: "I love the smell of porn in the morning!") Yes, each chapter starts up precisely where the last one left off, because I actually didn't write this as a chaptered story, but as one long continuous work - some 15,800 words' worth. I broke it up because I knew LJ would choke on a single post of that size, and because I was only about half-finished when Valentine's Day rolled around, and I really wanted to post the first part on that day.

I'll listen to a few samples from Anatomic & see what I think of it. And no, 'Persistence of Memory' wasn't the one I chose. Hint: It's one of the songs (with actual lyrics) rather than an instrumental. That narrows your choice down to three or four, I believe!

Sorry, I misquoted the title of that Iarla O'Lionaird album. It's The Seven Steps To Mercy; Seacht is the first track on the album, and I believe it's the Irish Gaelic word for 'seven', which is where my cornfusion may have come from.
