Story notes: This is set post-Hogwarts, and the only AU element in this story is that one single decision is made differently, and Cedric lives to tell the tale. Everything else remains faithful to the canon we know up to Half-Blood Prince.
This story turned out to be more about Cedric than anyone else - because I adore him fiercely, and there's just so much more to be told about him and Harry than what was seen between them in Goblet of Fire.
I'll be posting a new part every few days, and this story will be finished by the end of December.
