"GOOD NEWS, everyone!" I say, in my best Professor Farnsworth voice.
As those of you who have either been there or at least read about it may already know, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened this summer with (in my opinion) one major flaw, specifically in the Dragon Challenge.
This attraction, formerly the Double Dragon coaster, is based on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire's Triwizard Challenge. In it, visiting Muggles are invited to participate in a Triwizard task of their own, needing to choose between the red Chinese Fireball dragon and the blue Hungarian Horntail dragon. Along the queue, there are signs touting encouragement for the official Triwizard champions: Harry Potter, Viktor Krum, and Fleur Delacour.
AND THAT WAS ALL. When the park first opened back in June of 2010, there was not a SINGLE mention of the fourth (well, arguably third, with Harry being the fourth) Triwizard champion. As you may have guessed, I found this deeply disappointed as a someone who'd been a fan of the character for nearly five years.
Now imagine my jubilation when I returned to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter this past October to find
THIS! And two others like it, including one that has a badger with the word "DIGGORY" written under it. That's a total of THREE all-new banners for our favorite Hufflepuff!
Just thought I'd share the joy that our boy is being properly represented in the park :)

PS: it's also worth noting that some of Harry's banners and some of Cedric's share a color scheme (red, yellow, and black). Interesting... :D
