Sunshine!
This weekend was full of birthday fun and the realization that I need to organize my life better. What a combo!
Friday night Jackie and I went up to Coyote Joes where we had a beer or two and then decided to turn in early. Very uneventful. I hadn't been there in awhile and really enjoyed having an opinion about everything. Honestly, it was a very odd night, emotion-wise. I was a mess for no reason.
Saturday the fam celebrated my sister's birthday at Benihana and then we took a little trip to IKEA to get a present for Ben (tell me how that makes sense :P). I wanted everything in sight, but decided to move in, see what I have and what I would like and make a list. Ellen and I can take one big trip and go crazy. I can see the mountian of stuff now!! My list is getting L.O.N.G.
Sunday I attempted to consolidate my life into something that's moveable. I have a lot of things that I don't want to display or store in my place, but that I'd like to hold on to. I'm thinking about getting some Rubbermaid tubs and seeing if mom and dad can give me a corner of the basement. Sifting through boxes of photos made me realize that I really need to start putting them all in albums. Maybe I'll take it easy this weekend and be artsy fartsy. Yes, I think that would be good.
I really want some ice cream...
