how do I get anything done?
Oh Monday...you're back too soon.
Fueled by many many martinis on Friday, I proceeded to put on the 'Karen show' in front of friends and coworkers. Entertaining? Sure. Happening next weekend? Possibly, but only because its St. Pattys. Happening again? I hope not. Regardless, it was so much fun to have so many of my good friends out in one place. There were lots of birthdays last week that needed celebrating.
Saturday morning I rolled out of bed and went down to the Masonic Temple to usher for RENT. I was so glad I finally got the see the play after enjoying the soundtrack for so many years.
I went out Saturday night for Jacob's birthday and then ended the night dancing at Luna and trying to eat cheese fries at coney. Eating anything smothered in cheese whilst sober is a bad idea.
Ellen and I have decided to take the plunge into apartment searching. We both agreed that we'd make good roommates and we pretty much plan on living like college students again. I'm really excited about this. Hopefully we'll have a new place in a few months!
I'm venturing to Chicago this year for St. Patty's to re-connect with old friends and welcome Lauren's move to the city. And of course, to drink green beer at fine Chicago establishments. If anyone else will be there let me know!
