Its been awhile since I've had any sort of real update. To tell the truth, life has been pretty tame as of late. I think thats all set to change very soon.
Last weekend I attended my friend Tiffany's wedding in Windsor. The ceremony was beautiful (short and sweet) and Tiffany looked georgous! I had more fun at the reception than I had had in awhile. Lots of fun conversation with our table-mates and LOTS of dancing. I was introduced to cherry whiskey, which was delicious, and its probably a good thing that its not sold here. Poor Jacob was sick and had to put up with me and all of the wedding chaos with a cold, but he was quite the trooper!
The last week at work has been extremely hectic. Actually no, the week overall was pretty laid back, Friday however, was the day from hell. I couldn't even eat that night because my stomach was so tied up in a knot. I don't know why I was so wound up, but I do know that it was not a happy time. I hope this week is better.
Yesterday was a big day for our family. Not only was it my mom's birthday (which meant a yummy dinner out with the fam), but Ben rolled over! Yay Ben! This is a huge developmental milestone for him and I hope he'll do it for Aunt Karen sometime soon!
My friend Chris got tickets to see The Arcade Fire out in NY in Feb. First off, I can't believe we even got tickets. They are only playing 5 shows, each of which had about 500 tickets available. Should be an awesome awesome time. I'm excited to introduce him to team Brooklyn and to see all of my friends. Now I just need to find a ridiculously cheap flight...
I leave on Sunday to go down to Flordia to visit Sarah and spend some much needed girl time with her. We already have big plans for the week and I am super excited to see her. Oh, and for warm weather. My friend Dave from Minnesota will be there too, and I'm really hoping that our plans to meet up will work out. I would be insanely lucky if I got to see him 3 times this year!
What is with all this ice?! I'm so glad I had the day off! I don't even want to think about what this weather is going to do to my commute time.
