Ringing in 2007 was a great time. I don't really dig the bar scene on new years, but it was so nice to have lots of friends around to have fun with. I'm hoping to get pictures soon. My camera's been acting odd lately so I've been relying on others, who, unfortunately are awful at posting pictures. Sigh.
New years day I caught up on some serious laundry and tried to clean up a little. I went over to my sister's for a delicious dinner and played with Ben. He loooves his Drop and Roar Dinosaur that I got him for Christmas. Then again, I love it just as much. That toy has it all- lights, music, roaring, cuteness, not to mention the dinosaur factor.
Yesterday I ushered for 'Spamalot' at the Fisher Theatre in Detroit. What a great show. Not only am I a fan of Monty Python, but I love how they poke fun at Broadway musicals throughout the whole show. Download the soundtrack if you're curious. It's wonderful. Jill and I were asked to walk around the lobby and sell programs, coconuts and cds. That was different...but fun. How can you not have fun when you're selling coconuts?
Today I'm super unmotivated. Lots of paper to sort through today at work. Boo.
Is it bad that I'm really excited to get home early tonight and lounge on the couch? It seems like forever since I've been able to do that.
