sunshine in December
Ok, so its time for a real update.
I've been given a wonderful opportunity at work and will be traveling to Orlando, Flordia on Saturday to help out with a sales meeting that we are putting together. I'll pretty much be there to do grunt work and run errands, but I will also get to meet all of the Michelin clients which is huge. Coordinators rarely travel or meet the clients...its more of a behind the scenes job, so this is a great chance to make a good impression. I'm excited. Plus, I get to spend a week in Flordia, next door to Disney World! I hope I get some down time!
I had a wonderful night out on Friday. Maybe I don't hate dating as much as I thought.
Tonight we put up the Christmas tree and made some 'fluff' for dessert. I think this is the first time in a long time that the tree has been up in a timely manner. We usually get around to putting it up on the 20th or so and then it doesn't even seem worth it. My holiday spirit must be rubbing off on my parents!
I went to visit Ellen today and save her from cabin fever. Starbs + Ellen= a lovely day. I swear, our lives always seem to go in the same direction at the same time! We went back and played with Mia for a bit and I fell in love. What a cute dog!
I really want this week to fly by...
