Challenge #4; Pitch Black & The Chronicles of Riddick

Sorry about this. This is the actual challenge post, from the person who's seen the movies. : ) There was just a little mix-up since my plumbing stopped working.

Challenge #4 has two interrelated movies: Pitch Black and The Chronicles of Riddick.

I've decided to provide summaries of the movies, not only because they're my favorite movies ever, but because it'll help put the pictures into context.

Pitch Black While transporting passengers on the back lanes, transport ship Hunter-Gratzner falls off course and is seriously damaged by a meteor shower. When it crashes the survivors include: Carolyn Frye, the ship's pilot; Jack, a young stowaway; Imam, a Holy Man on a pilgrimage to a new home; and Johns, a mercenary masquerading as an official law enforcement officer. As very different people, with very different backgrounds, they have only one thing in common. They think their biggest threat on this planet with three suns is the merc's bounty: Richard B. Riddick.

Psychopath, serial killer, and the only person to ever escape a Triple Max security prison, Riddick breaks out of his bit and bindings and taunts them. When one of the other survivors go missing, they believe Riddick is responsible. But soon enough they begin to realize that he may be the least of their problems. Because as the suns fade into a rare eclipse, nightmare creatures come out from their hiding places, looking for new prey to feed on. They must ban together if they have a chance to survive -- and, they must stay in the light.

Chronicles of Riddick Five years after Pitch Black, Riddick hides on a people-forsaken ice planet, determined to stay out of the way of mercs and keep things from coming down on his head and the head of another survivor: Jack. But nothing can last forever and as Imam betrays his location to force Riddick out of hiding, Riddick finds himself being drawn into a war against the crusading, merciless Necromongers.

Aereon, a powerful Elemental, believes that Riddick is the boy destined to defeat the Necromongers' Lord Marshall. Riddick has other plans: namely, finding Jack. Once a stowaway who masqueraded as a boy to protect herself, Jack has grown up, running away from the Imam's home where Riddick left her and leaving a trail of bodies in her wake. Now going by Kyra, Riddick finds her in a Triple Max slam with the intent of breaking them both out. But vicious prison guards are the least of their problems as the Necromongers close in on them both.

Unfortunately for Riddick, no matter how little he cares about the fate of the universe and Aereon's plea, the Lord Marshall is still intent on killing him -- or die trying.
