We went to a hockey game last night. First game all season we got to go to. Last year my dad had season tickets and we sat 8 rows off the ice. It was great so I was not sure how I would be able to handle sitting so high up at this game. It turned out to be just as fun. You could actually see more of the game then you could from down by the ice. We didnt get as much of the players emotion from up there, but we had a little boy sitting next to us that made up for it. He was so excited and energetic. He put most of the grown up hardcore hockey fans to shame. When we sat down my wife would not let me sit next to him because I get REALLY into the game and she was afraid that I would hurt his little head if things started going badly. (Im one of those loud violent fans) So she made me sit by this guy with hairy ears and a really wierd hat. By the end of the first period, my wife said sorry for making me sit there cause the boy is almost as bad as I am. LOL HA. I lost 10 bucks to her because she bet that they would play Queens of the Stoneage, and I of course bet against it. STUPID STUPID STUPID. But they won 5-1 so it was worth all 28 dollars we spent to go see the game. (that included the 10 dollar bet.
If you ever want to go see them play, those tickets are only 25 dollars each. They arent what you would call the BEST seats, but you can see the game really well and still hear everything on the ice, and the croud is a bit more fun up there. I recommend it to the Hockey fan. And remember,... The stars have not lost a home game this season in regulation time so if you go to a game and they DO lose. I will blame you and send the mob of angry stars fans your direction. I have a mailing list lol
Thats about all for now, just counting down the days till next tuesday. Dont know why though, we are going to be broke again. Oh well though, Such is life.
