To the Gentle Men and Ladies of Edensphere,
I do hope you find yourselves well this evening, and that the continuing absence of our dear friend Gravity is not troubling you unduly.
I am writing now with the intention of clarifying my position, vis-a-vis the invitations I have extended in the last few weeks. Please do not mind my roommates hesitancy, dear friends. It is only his great modesty which makes him say such things. You see, it is his Terrible Secret that he is inclined to Frequently and Habitually traverse from bed to shower to breakfast entirely without a shirt. Yea, even unto the afternoon, sometimes.
Thus far, this has been my burden to carry alone, and he only seeks to preserve his virtue from prying eyes. I know you better, however, and I do not share his level of coyness, so I extend my invitation once more. Please do not allow my bosom friend's lack of attire dissuade you from making a visit. He is only sour because I do not invite him to the fun parties at any rate.
