Well I've been thinking that life is good.

I've decided to go to Marquette...mostly because I got wait-listed at Maryland but I was sorta leaning towards there anyways. I'm turning 18 tomorrow. I have a great group of friends. I don't have to do a lot of work (other than math....thanks Mr. Deppe.) and Ive decided to work on my basketball game for intramurals. I have a girlfriend that I love and Paul VI basketball might actually win the championship. Life is beautiful but I have one question...

When is the other shoe going to drop?

In my experience, things balance out. When things go bad, they eventually go good and unfortunately, the opposite is true. I'm nervous, man, Im nervous. I mean with the way things are going, Darryl Proctor will break his leg, Deppe's interim will get me grounded, and Yo mama Osama will bomb my house. Is that a morbid viewpoint, you ask? Absolutely. Is it justified? Probably. I mean Maryland bball has already gone in the crapper and Marquette will have to pull out a miracle to make the tourney. (on a side note, would it be wrong to pray that JJ Reddick breaks his ankle? Its not the same thing as wishing death or eternal damnation on him so I dont see a problem with it) Well I gots to run but heres hoping life goes on the way it is. The key is to maintain (especially my GPA...Fornshell is not helping with that test tomorrow). Later
