I have a new love and that is the art of breakdancing.

You see, Brooke has been hanging with these guys who break dance and she's been pickin' up a few tricks of the trade and tonight, they set up a mat right outside of Beyond Bliss downtown and just cut loose. There was this one BEAUTIFUL Asian.....I was enamored by his good looks and mad skillz. He was good but Brooke was my favorite. She was hesitant to get on the mat.....but they were all "GO GUH GO GUH GO GUH!!!" Man, I thought she was just going to do a few steps and maybe pop and lock it. But heh, nawww.....she got on her hands and all that cah razy ish. She wah worrrrrkin' it. I saw many a people such as; Kelly Raaz, Maggie, and a few other people with them that I didn't know their names, Ola Tunde, Matt Amy, Mike Massengale, Casey Trahan, Colin....last name, unkown to me. But, bass player for TRIAGE <3, Taylor, and a few others. After the b-dancin, we crossed the street to Froggy's and checked out the band playing there. Brooke and Taylor danced together. They were so beautiful in that moment. In my last entry, I talked about what kind of husband I want......
My dad and both my two brothers can shake their phunky butt. That's something I want in a guy. Maybe even a requirement. = ) He won't be embarrased to cut a groove on the floor with me. I would love that.
::Sigh:: Brooke is leaving for New Orleans tommorow. She's become a close friend, a role model, and a sister to me. I'm OVERJOYED we became close these past few months. I'm glad she's getting out of Lafayette and into a larger city where she'll experience college life and that whole bit. And also, no doubt her creativity and intelligence will have an oppurtunity to breathe freely and further than Lafayette High School could offer her. I am planning BEAUCOUP trips to New Orleans. = ) That's a thumbs-up.
Thumbs-ups always remind me of James Wise....and James will be also attending UNO in the fall. *smile*
So, back to breakdancing. There's this show at Buckutty's that YOU should go to......if you're interested in it. Talk to me, comment. We could go together. Eh? Eh?
Josie picked me up from the downtown area and we headed to A-ville to sleep at her hizzy. It seems to be an early night for Josie. Oh well. She's a tired gal. I give her a break.
TOMMOROW......I will wake up.....I think Josie has play practice or something of that nature tommorow. We PLAN to go to the SFN show. Heh, I'd like a lil' helping of yak meat.
