Lawyer!Taemin & Mafia boss!Minho. Lee Taemin's father is a gambler and a drunk - he borrows money from Korea's most elite kkangpae (mafia) to fund his gambling. Despite spending all of his (and Taemin's) savings, he's still buried in debt so the mafia takes him. The only way for Taemin to get his father back, unharmed, is if he agrees to be the their lawyer. Taemin accepts the deal. He meets and develops feelings for Choi Minho, the 'right hand man of the boss', until eventually asking the other to leave the mafia and live a normal life with him. But how can Minho leave the mafia if he IS the mafia? /cue dramatic sounds/
Basically, Minho is the real mafia boss, the kingpin. He's cruel and known for killing his enemies without remorse. He plans to monopolize the drug/firearm trade in Korea and was in the process of threatening the leaders of other korean mafias, when his ~*~*first love*~*~ suddenly resurfaces. At this point, the money Taemin's father owed the mafia is just a scheme to keep him within the group. Minho had already fallen in love with Taemin a long time ago (author has creative liberty with the back story) but they haven't seen each other in years so it's no surprise the latter doesn't remember him. He pretended to be the right hand man of the boss, thinking it would be the easier way to gain Taemin's trust and affections. After establishing their feelings for one another, Taemin becomes bold and asks Minho to runaway with him. Once he finds out the truth about Minho's identity though, all hell breaks loose.
Cliche, yes, so a more dark, possibly bloody(?) take on this would be great!

not at all, school is top priority! im half shocked and half glad someone picked it up so quickly. gluck with exams ;D that detail isnt necessary i was just giving a circumstance that would showcase minho's ruthlessness
