Didn't finish it my 100 movies/50 books last year but here's the post.

Now time for something new. Check out 2008_scrapbook for info on it.

MOVIES WATCHED

I Am Legend [A-] WOW. I loved this so much. Really heartbreaking. I cried like mad when Sam died. :'( Really interesting plot too with the cure for cancer turning everyone into monsters. I need to read the book. Also, Will Smith is hot.
Superbad [C+] Eh. Don't get the hype. It was American Pie with slightly younger people. It wasn't really all that funny either. My favorite parts were the serious moments between Seth & Evan. And also Michael Cera's vast cuteness. And I liked pointing out everyone I recognized.
Juno [A+] I went in with incredibly high expectations. And they were pretty much met. I loved it. Very cute, sweet, funny, sad. I admit to bawling after Juno has the baby and she's crying and Bleeker is holding her and she voiceovers "I think it was always hers." Awww. So sad/sweet.
Persuasion (2007) [C-] Eeeeh. Thought it was pretty boring. The redeeming thing was Rupert Penry-Jones is yummy looking (but him and Sally whatsherface had no chemistry). The lead chick was not very likable. Also that staring at the camera thing annoyed the shit out of me real fast.
Northanger Abbey (2007) [B] Sooo cute. I loved the actors playing Henry & Katherine (they had great chemistry and were just generally adorable). Henry is omg cutest guy ever. (And is apparently an identical twin of Lee Pace) Plus Sally Sparrow! Being a bitch.
Wristcutters: A Love Story [B+] Very cute. I loved the ending so much. Although I totally thoguht it would end with her slitting her wrists so she can back because she misses Zia (was that his name?) I figured that because of the movie title. But yeah very interesting movie. IT kind of reminded me of that book 'A Brief History of the Dead.'
Across The Universe [A+] OH MY GOD. FUCKING AMAZING. One of the prettiest movies ever and really really cool. Seriously everyone must go see this movie. It's beyond awesome.
Once [B] Very sweet. I was surprised by the ending. They didn't end up together! :( I really loved their songs.
Bee Movie [A] SO. CUTE. And funny! And heartwarming. I loved it so much.
The Golden Compass [C-] HUH? What is this movie about? Basically I had no idea what wa going on but it was pretty and I liked the daemons so I kept watching. I need to read the book.
I Capture The Castle [A] Basically this movie gets an A for the simple fact that Henry Cavill is in it. He is so gorgeous and I may be a little bit in love with him. I totally hated Cassandra for not ending up with him in the movie. HOW COULD ANYONE RESIST THAT?! Plus bonus Marc Blucas! Although I totally had a Buffy flashback when he showed up. All I could think of was "I'm cowboy guy!" because of the hat he was wearing lmao.
Death At A Funeral [C+] Eeeh. Alan Tudyk had me cracking up. And also some of the midget shenanigans were funny. But the best thing was Uncle Martie or whatever his name was. "Everythings so fucking green!"
Gone Baby Gone [A] LOOOOOOOVE. Really interesting story. I've never seen Casey Affleck in anything or anywhere. Which is why I was unaware that he is COMPLETELY GORGEOUS. I've found a new true love omg. He talks funny though. Can't understand an effing word he says. Mumbles like crazy. But it's okay because he's pretty while mumbling. And that little girl was hella adorable. Can not believe I just used the word hella. At the end I couldn't decide whose side I was on. In one way it was better off being with Morgan Freeman and then I was like but you can't just take a girl from her mom. Even though her mom completely freaking sucks. It's a dilemma. But yeah great movie. And please marry me Casey Affleck.
Fido [B-] LOL. This movie is cute. It's about a town that have enslaved zombies. Okay I guess that's not cute. Actually I was really mad about that part. It seriously made me feel bad for flesh eating monsters. This one boy befriends his family's zombie and the zombie is totally cool and falls in love with the kid's mom. Yes pure crack. But the good kind.
Love Me If You Dare [A+] I loved this one hardcore. That was a really interesting love story. Different. The guy was really cute. They were both cute. And I loved the dares. IT was also really sad. The ending was especially sad but also happy at the same time if that makes sense. But man that is insane. WHO BURIES THEMSELVES IN CEMENT?! That was a really cool ending though because I mean when the fuck has that ever happened in a romantic comedy movie thingy?
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy [C-] Mostly retarded. Some good things were Marvin, the depressed robot and I liked whenever the narrator came on and said stuff. But mostly it was retarded. I have to read the book. It's probably like 5 kabillion times better.
The History Boys [B] Cute. A movie about a bunch of hot smart guys with lots of gay subtext (text too!). I cried when the old pervert died. And man I am so sad that that one kid and the teacher didn't get it on. I was praying for it.
The Deaths Of Ian Stone [C] WEEEEEEEIRD. Lyla from Dexter was in it and as soon as I saw her I instantly hated her in the movie. So it's not just Lyla. It's the actress. I CAN NOT stand her. Anyway the main guy was really hot and Cassie from Hex was in it too. But it was weird as hell. Something about corrupt reapers and some guy keeps dying over and over and yeah hot guy.
Mysterious Skin [A-] Joseph Gordon-Levitt is hot. Plus a good actor. Anyway loved this movie. Very fucked up. I liked how they were just trying to show two separate kids dealing with sexual abuse. One becomes a huge slutty prostitute and one becomes a big nerd who thought he was abducted by aliens. It was really sad. I cried like hell when that man raped Neil in the shower and kept banging his head into the wall. :'( And the end too. Where Neil and Brian finally meet and Neil tells him what happened. Sad movie.
LA Without A Map [C-]Why is DT always playing stalkers? I thought he was a bit creepy in this but I'd still do him. I loved Vincent Gallo's character in this though. He was funny. But mostly it was boring. And the girl was a moron.
Dot The I [B-] Gael Garcia Bernal WHY YOU SO PRETTY?! Anyway this was cool. It was crazy! I was not expecting that twist at all. Both of them. I mean WTF? So yeah pretty cool.

Shameless 5x04 - Mickey admits to Ian he bought him the bed and did not in fact steal it. Aw. Then followed by the jail scene where Mickey is desperate and I wish like hell Ian liked Mickey as much as Mickey likes Ian. so that they could have had some hot boisexxins in the jail cell :(
Friday Night Lights 2x14 -

Skins 2x05 - Chris & Jal make a bet (Fuck It. Yes.) And are generally awesome and cute and then they get together. But the best part is the last scene. "I love you. You're my whole world" HE WIPES THE SNOT FROM HER NOSE! That's true love. :D
Torchwood 2x13 - "Because you're breaking my heart." *cries forever*
Battlestar Galactica 4x02 - "I believe you." Oh, Lee. You sure know how to make me love you even more.
Battlestar Galactica 4x03? - The hottest pre-sex scene ever. God Anders. Please push me on the bed and do me too kthnx.
Doctor Who 4x01 - Donna & The Doctor finally meet up. lmao.
How I Met Your Mother 3x16 - Barney & Robin make out!
Doctor Who 4x11 - Wilf fights a Dalek with a paintgun. Wilf in general really.
Doctor Who 4x10 - Two words. BAD WOLF.
