-this Brazil 70 comp is even better than I hoped.
-Born Ruffians 7-inch is not as good as their awesome opening set for Caribou, but still good.
-this week's Album of the Week is The Cool Death of Island Raiders by the Ohsees:
Pitchfork only gave it a 4.1, but that was a grievious oversight. It's a mini-masterpiece of folky noise-pop, right up there with The Microphones, No Age, and Kicking Giant.
