I watched part of the "The Fallen," the Nightline special tonight where Ted Kopple read the names of those killed in combat recently. So many people ages 19, 20, 21. A girl who was 18. All the way up to people in their 50s. It's incredible and sad and truthful.
So many kids of our generation are committing themselves to our country and giving their lives in that committment. This isn't a distant group of people - this is us - our dads, moms, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins... our friends.
So many people to miss, to remember.
So many people to pray for, people who continue on.
God bless.
... remembering Grandpa and Grandma Livingston, Grandpa and Grandma Nolan, Sarah, Danielle, Phil, Mrs. Drop, Mr. Gillette... Montana, Thunder, Sugar, Stella, Quincy, Sally, Duchess... and everyone who has passed and left us with more than we could ask for.
