I have a JOB!
So today, when I went to work (where I volunteer at the College of Education), Kathy told me that I had to go talk to Ruth. So I did. Ruth told me that she got my referral to work there (instead of volunteering), and that it was accepted. So, basically, I got hired. But what's really cool, is that instead of starting in the Winter, I get to start either this week or next week. I can work up to 20 hours per week too - which WHOA, is awesome, but will never happen - because yeah - I'm miss 18-Credit-Becca this winter. But I'm really excited - because I will be able to pay my mom back little by little for helping me out with my last payment for school - and other than that, my mom will just plain be HAPPY. So - that's the highlight to my day.
I also finished my astronomy homework WAY faster than I thought I would. It was kind of fun to tell you the truth... I know... weird huh? After I was done with that, I went to Ryder with Tony and we shot around for a while until some stupid boys came and kicked us off our court. Fuckers. I love basketball. I really do miss it a lot. hmmph. oh well! At least I'm still able to play when I feel like it. The worst part is actually going outside to get there because it's so cold out. It's ONLY going to get WAYYY colder though. eh... whatever.
So now - I've still got to write a poem for my creative writing class... which should take like 10 minutes. Which reminds me - i wrote another poem today. I'm like on a roll... two days in a row. crazy. But yeah - i wrote it in geometry class. I bet you can't guess who it's about. ... ...
Tonight I'm going to finish homework, watch monday night football with Erin (because the Packers are playing), and watch the Challenge over in the Village. :0) Should be a good night. And tomorrow shouldn't be half bad either.
