Points 2-4 are very valid, and I can agree with each and every one of them. I already stated I can't stand Belichick, so I guess point 1 is valid as well.

As to point 4 (very strong point) it (the fines) sadly won't hurt them that much, because they are losing their 30th pick, instead of the pick they got from the trade. Also, if it was only a minor ocurance, why did the NFL destroy the tapes?

In any event, I most likely will find myself rooting against the Pats rather than for the Giants.

The other issue is, one of my co-workers is a huge Giants fan and very cocky about it. The three days after the Giants win was a constant barrage of pokes and insults trying to get me to snap. Seeing as it was obvious what he was trying to do, I agreed with most of his comments, because well given the way the Packers played (or failed to) twas all I could do. By and large I don't like New York fans or teams of any kind. I also can't stand cheaters or dynastys.

My hatred for cheaters and dislike of Belichick will most likely win out though. But like you said rooting against the Pats more so than for the Giants.
