So I ran into some breathing issues (as in not being able to) during the infusion Wednesday that were slightly less than ideal. ;-) The docs freaked and tried to shut down the whole shebang. Luckily stubborn-moi prevailed.
After starting and stopping the infusion three times I felt compelled to offer some suggestions:
How about diluting the I.V. meds with another bag of saline?
Let's slow the drip rate down drastically.
Hey, hook me up with some damn O2!
(well i didn't say "damn" nor did i yell...)
So now all those expensive mouse antibodies are safely (?) crawling around my bloodstream.
Do keep in mind this is all lively fodder for the book. I'm working on a humorous chapter (that won't scare away the kids); circular and symmetrical with a catchy pop hook. Touch o' rhymin' goin' on too (remicade = medicaid).
fading back into yesterday before tomorrow comes,

I've been trying to buy extra user pics from LJ all afternoon, something keeps screwing up and it's très annoying!)
