Though I have yet to decide what to do with this LJ, it did keep me up until 4 a.m. last night.
I was trying to modify settings -- to personalize it a bit -- and ended up working on it for three hours. And I still don't know how to change the layout to make it more interesting...
Of course I probably wouldn't have bothered at all -- but I was out celebrating hico's B-Day and everyone was talking about their LJs so I thought I would take a better look at mine. Yeah, a couple a hours and all I managed to figure out was how to change some colours and the font; though I was able to find some peeps online and add them as friends. :)
Lovely spinsterfeg is in Amsterdam, today possibly in Paris, and I miss her. I haven't seen her in so long... Her equally delightful partner stoner_witch seems lonely without her around; Carole just makes everyone's day better. Thankfully she writes wonderfully descriptive updates that make you feel like you're actually there with her. Wish I was!
I am sitting here writing when I should be outside enjoying the sunshine. Well, really I should be finishing up story numero deux for Style at Home magazine, but am not motivated. I will soon walk to the grocery store to buy yogurt and cereal. Could my life be any more exciting? ;-)
Had I any interest in catching that new Star Wars movie I suppose I could have hung out with friends today, but having only seen the original (and whichever one comes after that), it really doesn't mean that much to me. What I really want to see is Darwin's Nightmare.
Ack!
I am getting nothing done!
