How long the boy would sleep or not, Quinn didn't know. He had duties to attend to, though, so once he saw Robbie off to slumber he got out a piece of paper and left a note where he was sure Robbie would see it.

I've got to go work with Gareth and some of the others on the new tunnel we're digging to get under the castle's water supply. I'll come up and check on you as soon as my shift's over. In the meantime, you're welcome to read any of my books you like, and I'll send Jared to look in on you and get you something to eat if I can't get back up there straightaway.
There's clean clothes that'll fit you on the chair by my desk. Sorry I wasn't here when you woke up, but like I said, work to do. I'll see you later, though, I promise.
