Happy Birthday to Me!!!
Yay, the sun is out now! When I first got up, it was a little misty. It's a beautiful day for a birthday. My schedule is lighter than usual on Tuesdays, which will make for a nice way to celebrate my day (plus continue getting our house in order for our upcoming birthday/housewarming party).
The month is going well so far, excepting for last week when I lost my voice and couldn't talk or sing for awhile. I had to take 2 days off work and still couldn't sing the next 2 days. I guess it wasn't that bad though, and it gave me some unexpected time off!
Our house is looking great. Each step makes it more our own and closer to what we want. Of course, there are a lot more steps before being finished, but it keeps getting cleaner and more liveable.
Lots of exciting events, birthday and more, coming up in this week. I'm looking forward to them all! We had a nice Valentine's Saturday...lots of it was spent out working on our wedding gift registries. It takes us a lot of time, because we're not like lots of people who go scan-happy-crazy. Instead, we debate and compare and think about each item we add. We don't want people to spend too much money, and we also want products that look good and have the right features for our needs and wants. Later Valentine's Night we had a yummy steak, crab leg, and baked sweet potato meal at home; we played a game of Life; and we ended it with homemade cherry cheesecake. Mmm!
Well, I better finish my breakfast and get going for the day...I'm all done at 12:30!
