I've read the material provided but I still can't bring myself to accept the conclusion that we are stuck here. According to the laws of physics, this place should be impossible. In order for a planet to have the necessary mass to hold a gravity that is similar enough to Earth as this one appears to have, it would have to be much larger than a City whose population probably does not exceed two million people.
However, a loose hallucinogenic doesn't make conceivable sense either because no two people would be able to hallucinate the same effects.
Therefore I conclude that this must be a dream. If I simply allow myself to accept that this is a dream, I should be able to also wake up, provided that I'm not in a coma. I do not remember being hit in the head or being in a severe traumatic accident, so I have to also conclude that this is not a coma.
Therefore, I must be sleeping. Wake up, Zack. It's time to go to work.
