Home on a Tuesday night

So it's raining outside. It was this morning, then the sun came out, then it rained again, then sun again, then rain again, then sun again, then the sun set. When the sun set, the skies were clear, and I was expecting tennis. However, when it was time, it started to drizzle. By the time we got to the courts, the lights were off and the courts drenched. Don't like it when I get disappointed like that.

Work's been going good. It's better when the boss isn't there. He wasn't there for a day last week and he wasn't there yesterday either. I took on his role of distributing work to the team, and we got a lot done. There were also many jobs that were getting a bit old that got done. Things just work better when there's no boss around. No sudden problems, do this, do that. We keep wondering what he does all day long. It doesn't seem like that he does all that much. Most of the work are done by us sheep, he sits and stares at his screen most of the time, rubbing his eyes, writing emails, and that's about it. He also spends half the time talking to his boss, I don't know about what, but no other team leader talk to their boss more than him. It's alright though, things are more normal now that the new financial year has come and we don't have to rush deadlines as much.

We'll see how things go for the rest of the week, should be interesting.
