Wow! Has it really been so long since I last posted here? I seem to be sadly neglecting this journal, as well as my xanga blog... last fall I found a homeschool alumni blog site, and I have been spending a larger portion of my blogging time there. There are so many sites out there, that my friends have blogs on! Personally, I don't think I'll be adding any more blogs to my current list of three. When it comes down to it, I only have so much time, and seeing as more blogs equals more time required to update each one... I'm sure my friends who have blogs in these other places will understand.
Anyway. That was not what I originally intended to post about, a completely different subject than the next part. I hope that it is not confusing to anyone! Just something that was on my mind!
I recently discovered (thanks to Bonnie!) an excellent book trading site. I don't know how many of you are bookworms like me, or just like the idea of being able to get rid of some of those extra books you have laying around (and taking up space), and perhaps finding a few you have been searching for in return. (The site is www.PaperBackSwap.com) I hadn't heard of such a thing before, and was hesitant to try it for that reason. As with all other such decisions, I looked very carefully into it before I joined. I have no complaints about it, in the months that I have been a member there! I have sent out many books, and received quite a few as well, including a number of books that were on my search list for some time now!
