So it's been a while since I've blogged (and longer since I've blogged regularly!)
I was all gearing up to write one of those infamous "I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while..." posts when I came across
this post by
Tartx about blogging without obligation.
Blogging shouldn't be a chore. You should post when you want to say something, and not because you feel obligated to. So I'm not going to apologise for not having blogged in a while because I needed this break. I do have a lot to catch up on and blog about so I will hopefully be around here more often!
At the moment my thoughts are focused on moving into a new house, fantasies of designing my own fabric, and a decision on how I'm going to use all the fabric selvedges I've been hoarding for "just in case".
A selvedge spiderweb quilt! Inspired by this one from
Tallgrass Prairie Studio.
I love spiderweb quilts! If you'd like to have a go, Jacquie has written
a handy tutorial to make your own selvedge spiderweb blocks.
