(And what happened to day one you might ask? Well I've been up in Alice Springs for the past week and spent yesterday working out whether I had a cold vs the flu vs swine flu! But I'm back in "sunny" Melbourne again and ready to hit the ground running. Are you all ready?)

I've wanted to try this for a long time but never know where to start.
Can I just use any old eraser to try? a-and what is it that I should use to do the carving?

Erasers are a fantastic medium to start carving on! They will wear away after time (but you can always carve new stamps so it's not too bad), and eventually you'll want to carve bigger stamps than an eraser size, but I still use them to practice with and try new designs and mess around. They're so easy to carve!
I have a wee tutorial on carving here: http://twocheeseplease.livejournal.com/19678.html
And a post on some of the supplies (and where you can get them) here: http://twocheeseplease.livejournal.com/20497.html
Hope that helps!
