Hand stamped fabric

When I said this stuff was going to be limited edition, I meant REALLY LIMITED edition.

Stamping up a fat quarter took an entire night and 500 stamps. I wish I could no longer feel my arm but this isn't true - the muscles are screaming at me, and my fingertips are begging no more stamping!

That's so gorgeous! Totally worth the effort (so easy for me to say I know!). I love the way some of the colours are slightly off-set from the acorn. I think Spoonflower would be a great way to go, and isn't there an Aussie company starting up doing the same thing? I know I'd vote for the acorns in the weekly contest at Spoonflower anyways.

Is there an Aussie company? I'd love to go Australian if I could because I'm too impatient to wait for international shipping *ahem* and the Aussie dollar is so low lately anyway. Plus it's good to support your own country.

I'm very excited to try it out! It'll be one of the first things on my to-do list after getting back I think.

Hmmm...I unsuccessfully went back through emails because I'm sure I sent something to a friend of mine about it, but I have a sneaking suspicion that what I was thinking of was Ink & Spindle who of course do hand printing for people (http://www.inkandspindle.com.au/printing_services-yardage.html) While searching I did come across these guys though: http://www.nichedigitalprint.com/interior.html and they say they'll do print runs as small as a square metre.

Totally self-serving of me really, I'm just imagining an apron made from that fabric and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if you developed RSI stamping it by hand.
