My weird Karma...
So, I have an interesting history with structural collapses...
Some of you may remember how a letter fell off my workplaces signage and landed on my car...
I had alarmingly close to being on the bridge at Minneapolis when it collapsed...
And now I came SCARILY close to being right here...
I am optimistic that no one I know from my time living there is in the wreckage, my mom's friends have been largely accounted for, but it still is too close to home, literally and figuratively.
It makes me very sad both to see that the rescue is going so poorly, and even more so to see how poorly the town is treating the rescuers who have done their very best.
It's just a sad, sad, situation. I'm very glad to be safely home, and far away from the situation there.
