I recieved a whisper from a resto druid friend asking if I'd like to do some premade Warsong's on Saturday night. Of all the BG's, Warsong is my least favorite and even with a premade, it seems like winning is still often iffy. I had been relentlessly grinding honor in AV though - and was ready for a break, so I agreed, and away we went with a 9 man premade. I was the designated flag runner with the resto druid who'd whispered me as my pocket healer. Our group proceeded to win 6 WSG's in a row, and only the last one, against a full 10 man premade, managed to get a capture on us at all. All of the games were against at least partial premades. Now if I could have *that* premade every time, I might come to change my opinion of that particular BG.
I was able to collect the honor to get the Merciless Gladiator healing weapon. I also purchased the two pieces of Brutal Gladiator Kodohide that I had the ranking to get. A couple more pieces of honor gear, and I'll do the big respec and test it out in more BGs.
I also ran around doing the summer fires and got my fire crown this year. Also got the shoes and robe, pondering the dancing pet. I just don't have bank space for it all! And how wrong was it to be doing the quests down there on the Zoram Strand wondering all the while if my hunter would be able to tame the level 1 Spirit Guide? (A ghost wolf that looks a lot like a travel form shaman) *grin* I'm sure he's not tameable...but I might still have to try!
