(no subject)
I didn't write yesterday. But I don't feel bad. We spent the night at Gilly's for her birthday. We didn't sleep at all. It was perfect.

In other news, I started my first-ever T-shirt surgery. I'm making a black hoodie, based off of rejectcarp's tutorial here. I got four giant black men's t shirts from Goodwill and cut them up for fabric. So far I have the torso and sleeves (long) cut out and sewn together at the shoulders. Next I will sew the long seams so that the sleeves are tubes instead just flaps and the shirt actually has SIDES. I'm not going to make it zip up; instead I think i'll slpit it downt he front from the top about halfway down, and then add tabs with button holes to close it. I'll also add bands around the bottom and the cuffs instead of hemming them. I really need to find a hood that fits my head right so I can trace it. I'm so excited to finish it!
