When did it become December 2nd? The year's not over yet. I'm pretty sure I'm in for some more surprises this month for some reason, just an odd feeling. Not necessarily good surprises but yeah, surprises nonetheless.
I hope to hang out with people this month, in addition to pianoing of course. I have 2 upcoming concerts. HOLY CRAP MY ETUDE CONCERT IS IN A WEEK. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD! =(
Anyhows, I hope I can have some fun and hopefully this holiday season will turn out better than I expect them to. I really love the holidays, but I've had my share of good and bad holidays and unfortunately my holiday-forecaster is not looking so well this year. =\ Blimey. I wonder how I should cure my blues.
In any case, I have this crazy idea about having a concert for my birthday in a music venue featuring Stone Forest Ensemble or Hsu-nami. This random kinda out-there but awesome idea is actually the only reason I look forward to January/my birthday now. I keep having daydreams about it, but it's so expensive and all. I should make it into a benefit concert to support either children suffering from disease or to fund NYC public school music programs (ex. Tech's).
I also want to start a handbells group. I've had this idea for a few months but I think I should just order handbells and experiment with my brother first, then maybe I'll start it up at NYU and we'll tour and get famous and will be able to pay our crazy tuitions.
Haha, back to the music idea... I've even started asking these music venues how much it'd cost to do something like that. Too bad no one cool has a birthday in January that I could do a joint thing with, cuz that'd be perfect. Anyone want to celebrate their birthday early?
By the way. This is just genius and I am planning to learn this piece. YUNDI LI > LANG LANG! Heart-wrenching music, really.
