I am writing you for the simple fact, without opinion or unjust haste, remind you, that you sir are wrong. You may have good will, and sufficient ambition, but you are speaking of things you hold no knowledge of. First off, let me quote you then answer you with facts, not hybrid hearsay or assumption.
” In this game you have sex with a prostitute and then kill her grotesquely to get your money back and win the game faster.”
For one, I’m not even particularly a fan of this game. However, I do speak for it on the grounds that you are wrong. The above excerpt is not true, not even to a minimal degree. You can play the entirety of this game without even copulating a prostitute, let alone kill one. The same goes with paramedics and pedestrians. I guess acting on violence to innocents in that game is the same as acting on people in real life, it’s a guild of decision, not force. No one implores you to do these acts. Furthermore, and I think this was brought to your attention before, Klebold and Harris had serious problems, I’m not sure if you can make it a black and white situation that you wish to, just in order for you to ordain and manipulate people to your ghost hunting expedition. There are gray areas you obviously don’t see, nor care to, and I think you’re more dangerous and ill than you make any game to be.
I have more right and knowledge on this subject than you can fathom in your shallow biased mind. I was a student attending Santana High when my fellow students were shot and killed or wounded by Andrew Williams, I have witnessed chaos and death, I have seen blood and destruction, gloom and unity. I have also, played and understood gamers, witnessed their hobbies and passion. You are more flagrantly suspicious and tainted in the forms of comprehending humanity than those you oppose, your good natured facade is just that, a facade, and you’ve become abnormally immersed in your ignorance. I feel sorry for you, you’re attacking a sheath when the sword isn’t even in it.
This great journey of yours is primal in its conception. Is it difficult for you to realize that people cannot be trained to shoot a real weapon by emulating a fake arrow, button push method on a screen? Has it ever occurred to you, even momentarily, that there are dynamic physical differences between a gun’s handling system and the exaggerated video game replications that you play out on a lightweight controller? I play video games intermediately, and I highly doubt I can pick up a real weapon and shoot it with even moderate accuracy. Do me a favor and try picking up a game pad once, I doubt it has a trigger, scope and real time physics that come with it.
You sir, are a charlatan, I feel pity to you and your associates. I am a victim of violence. I am a gamer. Both of those are different. They are separate worlds, one is pixilated, and one is filled with real deep-rooted problems that a videogame couldn’t dig up if it tried.
