have the backend program used to generate it.
For what it's worth, the flow is somewhat like this:
The app that randomly plays music (which lives on the storage box, not the studio box) systems out to that backend, which generates the info into a YAML file. That file is on an NFS share, which the studio box's .rhtml file reads and dumps out to HTML. Wheeee.
