plus you brought back Stackhouse
I like to think that he's kicking around Atlantis somewhere and we just never see him. It's better than thinking he got killed in the siege :(

Mitchell doing Sheppard imitations cracked me up, too.

Wow, thank you for such a detailed comment! I've got really fascinated with the relationship between Lorne and Sheppard lately (this is what writing a slash fic about them does to me, apparently!). I can actually see Lorne as a career officer - he's definitely the voice of reason between the two of them - but I think, like you, there's a lot more to the character than that. Which is what makes him interesting.
See, it's these seemingly minor things that make this story so rich. :-)
I love these kinds of things in fic, because everyone comes up with different things, and picks different things to try and explain. I like the idea of there being someone at the SGC whose job it is to sort out reality when someone disappears off world, or suddenly gets reposted to another galaxy or whatever.
Or you completed your quota when serving on SG-11 (I think...) before you got sent to Atlantis, Major.
Could be. I think he's saving it all up for Atlantis :)
He watched Sheppard walk off, definitely missing ( ... )
