Okay, so first of all, DUDE. I totally don't mind this kind of angst at all. I glory in angst as long as I can see a happy ending somewhere down the road, and I do have special rose-colored glasses when it comes to fiction; your stories defy them most of the time, weep, BUT NOT THIS TIME. = =+

Everything pinged, but I think what I love most is the sense of desperation you evoke -- Sengoku hugging Yuuki from behind in the kitchen, the confession that's not a confession, and Akutsu from start to finish. You write feeling so beautifully well, neither underplaying or overdoing it, and my heart twisted as I read, then smoothed itself out at the end in relief.

Love. Love. Lovelovelovelovelove, ad infinitum.

Aren't you proud of me? Angst with a mild ending. Maybe just for you, I will go and write a happy ending for them. *grins*

Sengoku and Yuuki with Akutsu is the equivalent of desperation, though. it is a million and one taboos: falling in love with an older woman, falling in love with a single mother, falling in love with your best friend's mother, falling in love with your best friend, being jealous of your mother for having an affair with your best friend. I think that's why I like this pairing so much. 8grins*

LOVE LOVE LOVE RIGHT BACK AT YOU.

Aaah, you are willing to go places that most fanfic writers are not sophisticated enough to be interested in and dear god, it's always satisfying reading something with as much subtlety as this.

Ovations! (Mostly because AkuSen is a pet and you loved on Yuki and Sen loved on Yuki and that's good stuff.)

*laughs* I claim no credit for going where others aren't willing to go. This is entirely Erin's fault. But I'll take credit for some of it, because I am a spoiled, credit-hungry author.

In other words, thank you very much. <3!

Oh man, you. I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this-- all the details you weave together are absolutely incredible. Jin's pain and jealousy about Sengoku and Yuuki's relationship especially is awful and perfect and I approve of the angst. vvvv THANK YOU. <333333 I'll just be over here in awe of you now.

your fics make me feel so many different things, but this one markedly so. and seriously, bring on the angst. although you write it in such a way it's always about love, which is something I think most people forget; I'm not getting 'he angsts!' vibes as much as I am getting 'he loved Sen so, very, very much'.

For him, there are only 17 muscles responsible for smiling, 43 for frowning, and the only one worth worrying about is the single, gigantic, conglomerate muscle responsible for thinking: the heart.

<33333 too many lines to quote back at you but this is most Sengoku.

He still loves Sen very very much, the poor troubled boy. I actually don't think I can write AkuSen from Sengoku's point of view, in fact. I'm not sure why. Probably a mental block or something, just like I don't think I can ever write Rikkai D1 from Niou's point of view.

Anyway. Thank you very much, you wonderful person. Everytime I see feedback from you my insides go all warm and fuzzy. <3333333333

That was really amazing. It really touched me, somehow, I don't know how to explain -- but wow.
