For
dinghy. Because I was originally going to write winter as just between Sengoku and Akutsu, before I realized that I was forgetting Yuuki.
(
vagrant: around 4,000 words. akusen, senyuuki. part four of the seasonal arc. come in out of the cold; let me touch you. )

Everything pinged, but I think what I love most is the sense of desperation you evoke -- Sengoku hugging Yuuki from behind in the kitchen, the confession that's not a confession, and Akutsu from start to finish. You write feeling so beautifully well, neither underplaying or overdoing it, and my heart twisted as I read, then smoothed itself out at the end in relief.
Love. Love. Lovelovelovelovelove, ad infinitum.

Sengoku and Yuuki with Akutsu is the equivalent of desperation, though. it is a million and one taboos: falling in love with an older woman, falling in love with a single mother, falling in love with your best friend's mother, falling in love with your best friend, being jealous of your mother for having an affair with your best friend. I think that's why I like this pairing so much. 8grins*
LOVE LOVE LOVE RIGHT BACK AT YOU.

Ovations! (Mostly because AkuSen is a pet and you loved on Yuki and Sen loved on Yuki and that's good stuff.)

For him, there are only 17 muscles responsible for smiling, 43 for frowning, and the only one worth worrying about is the single, gigantic, conglomerate muscle responsible for thinking: the heart.
<33333 too many lines to quote back at you but this is most Sengoku.
