Once up on a time, two boys met each other on a crazy Chinese TV show, and it hasn't been the same since.

By none other than the show itself. In case you didn't believe me when I tell you that the show supports this pairing. There is a translation that is offered on the side; trust me, understanding the words makes this video so much better.
BOBO inspires in me a kind of love that makes me either want to cry or vomit because of the cute.
For the curious: BOBO = Jin Bo Ran and Fu Xin Bo, a.k.a. Jin Bao (as in treasure) and Little Bun (Xiao Bao Zi). Not only do their names both have a "bo" sound in them, their nicknames both have a "bao" sound in them. They're so made to be. In the first picture, Little Bun is on the left and Bo Ran is on the right. In the second picture, Little Bun is on top and Bo Ran is under him. In the last picture, Little Bun is again on the left and Bo Ran is the one who is sitting closer to the camera, on the right.
A note: I was wrong about their relationship. Jin Bo Ran is the younger "brother" (by two years) and Fu Xin Bo is the older one (18 and 20). This difficulty was probably compounded by the fact that Jin Bo Ran would often make misleading statements that sound very "older brother". IN ANY CASE. I spent a lot of time on tudou.com and youtube and have dug up some clips about BOBO and My Hero. Because everyone needs to share in the love. And also because I want a fandom that speaks my language, damnit. (if you want a semi-transcript of any of these videos, just let me know, and I'll do my best.)
-2007 My Hero finale performance
The name of this song is like, This Stage of Youth or something, this Battlefield of Youth? I don't know how to translate it exactly, but it's kind of the theme song of My Hero. This is a performance with both the 2006 and 2007 finalists that was how the final episode of 2007 started. (I'm not sure if the 2006 finalists had better voices, or if they're better trained now that they're kind of famous, but they sound better than the 2007 kids. ._.)
- A review of BOBO by an entertainment program
This also has a sort of overview of what is in BOBO's future-- photo album, CD, and a movie. (I should point out that BOBO isn't sure they're actually going to be in the Prince of Tennis live action.) Apparently they went to each other's hometowns and are reenacting the other person's childhood for the photo album. ......... anyway. Little Bun can't draw, Bo Ran has terrible reflexes, they goof around, and everyone is cute while they talk about how they first met each other.
-BOBO answers questions from their fans like a married couple after a Hollywood honeymoon and get to discuss all sorts of semi-serious things, like what show business life is like, college, and make-up. If someone ever did a dissection of their body language during this broadcast-- all I can say, China, is they are gayer than a tree full of nitrous monkeys, okay. "Of the 06 -07 boys, I think we two are the most fortunate, it's kind of like a fairytale." I think I've decided that Bo Ran is the uke and Little Bun is the seme in this relationship. Bo Ran is a weepy, clingy, emotional uke with a tendency to bite. I think it works out well, especially since I'm pretty sure during one of their fan conferences, someone calls Bo Ran the wife. This broadcast also reveals a couple of very interesting things about these kids:
1) BING HE MENTIONS ROU JIANG MUO AND LIAN PI.
2) They have no head for business at all. I mean, of course they are like, 20, maybe? But they admit to being clueless about their business future.
3) Bo Ran kind of has ridiculously flamboyant hand gestures. AND GIRLY HAIR.
4) Little Bun reveals that he's never been hit by a girl. Also that the MV shows that Little Bun's character is thinking of breaking up with his girlfriend while fighting with Bo Ran. WEIRD AMBIGUOUS MESSAGES.
5) They were planning on doing house chores but then hired a housekeeper. They use rock paper scissors to settle issues. Little Bun makes ramen. They watch anime together but are afraid of crying in front of each other when they watch it. They CHAT ONLINE WITH EACH OTHER WHILE IN ADJACENT ROOMS. Out of worry that Bo Ran was going to be in danger, Little Bun started to run towards Bo Ran, but then ended up tripping and falling on his face and Bo Ran laughed his ass off at him. Little Bun likes to scare Bo Ran after watching horror films. Basically they are girls.

Little Bun: "We are together 24/7!" The interviewer asks them what their bad habits are. Little Bun says that he is very slow in living his life. Bo Ran does a "Little Bun in a shower" impression which is hilarious, probably because it's true. "But that's not really a bad thing when living with him, is it?" the reporter asks. "BUT WHAT IF I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM AND HE IS TAKING A SHOWER," Bo Ran asks jokingly. Bo Ran says his bad habits are biting people and not wearing socks and then makes fun of Little Bun's skin ("it's thicker than a pig's!" "I HAVE A BITEMARK. I WON'T SHOW IT TO THE WORLD IN ORDER TO LEAVE YOU SOME FACE.")
-Interview with BOBO
BOBO talks about how to take care of your skin, how many bowls of rice Bo Ran eats in the morning, and their life together in Beijing. Tons of good- natured ribbing, Bo Ran kisses Little Bun on the head in apology, and the reporter accuses Little Bun of domestic abuse. Then they argue so adorably on camera as if they were all alone. Seriously, you guys. It's so incredibly cute.

BOBO as a name is explained, more accusations that Little Bun domestically abuses Bo Ran, and they discuss some more about Bo Ran's biting habit. Then they talk about how shortly after they met each other, they both somehow ended up humming the same song and they tend to say the same things at the same time. BOBO then proceeds to make faces at the camera, Little Bun fixes Bo Ran's hair for him, and Bo Ran is asked to hit on the lady announcer (??? OH CHINA) which cracks up Little Bun so much that he is like, fainting on the couch and the male announcer has to hit him to get him to sit up. Then Little Bun tries it, and the lady announcer starts laughing, which makes him start to laugh, and they never make it through without laughing.

-This is Yan An interjecting himself into Wan Rui's conversation with a random American person, but Yan An is messing them up by pretending to translate the conversation into being about food and how ugly Wan Rui is when, uh, they're having a conversation about Yao Ming. Kimi interrupts to show off his Japanese, Wan Rui accuses Kimi of conspiring with Zhang Dian Fei, and in general, the boys are adorable. Yan An drags Kimi off, and Wan Rui makes a joke about both of them being birds.

- My Hero in the morning
I think if I watched this show more, I might have really been in love with Zhang Dian Fei. In here, he is trying to wake up Li Yi Feng, who is all, I have no pants on!! LEAVE THE ROOM SO I CAN PUT ON MY PANTS!! And Zhang is like "...okay but just one minute." Zhang Dian Fei being manly and great some more.

As boys tend to, they gravitate towards the foozeball machine before the announcer lady, who is kind of a bitch because of her job, makes them move on.
-Second part-- BEST ONE EVER.
The princes move into their beds, and by the way BOBO are next to each other <33333 And at one point Bo Ran hides a bag in his closet and won't let Little Bun see what's in it. Then they go into the bathrooms, which have-- no joke-- TRANSPARENT WALLS AND DOORS, and totally bizarre shower heads, which Wan Rui messes with, and Zhang Dian Fei is like "._. come out of the shower now." Then the boys move into their beds, and Zhang Dian Fei owns about four guys in Rock Paper Scissors. P.S. Don't forget to catch around 6:59, where, uh, well, BOBO. Is. Thing. yeah.

Wan Rui asks Kimi if he's going to start a barber shop. Then pulls an Infernal Affair skit on him. And Kimi is like a;sdfkja;s knock off! And then Bo Ran washes his feet in the face-washing sink and gets yelled at by everyone else.
-The next day.
The domestic bit with BOBO is clearly the most romantic thing you will ever see, period. I'm a little confused as to what the boys are writing, but Bo Ran obviously skips out on eating fried rice so he can be alone in the room with Little Bun and just eat gummy worms while watching Little Bun write, which is an unbearable beautiful thing. THEN ALL OF THEM PUT ON FACE MASKS. Really demonstrates the whole "beauty show" element of My Hero we tend to miss. And then in the middle of the night Jin Bo Ran and Little Bun mess around with each other in bed and get scolded. I could have phrased that differently, but it was funnier as is. (then they're, like, hazed by being woken up at 3AM and lectured by their new trainer/producer/drill sergeant while the boys try not to yawn.)

Boys are silly. I also feel like at one point in this video they get into an argument. ._. But it's all made up for it in the end-- Little Bun admitting point blank on national television that he'd rather lose to Bo Ran than the other way arond.

Before you start to think that somehow this affectionate craziness is somehow unique to BOBO and BOBO only, yeah-- take a look at this video which pieces together some of the greatest craziness by the My Hero boys all together. KIMI is particularly suspect to doing weird shit when you least expect it, I feel like, and Zhang Dian Fei again gets my award of greatest after BOBO. Also: Kimi's mfeo pairing. shirt biting and other sorts of cuteness. because i feel bad for hating on Kimi so much during the show.

I don't know what photoshoot this was, but it was clearly a stroke of genius, and the boys are the cutest things in the whole entire world. I am not exaggerating. At all. Especially since Bo Ran pulls on Little Bun's shirt and exposes his nipple. YEAH AMERICAN IDOL LET'S SEE YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN THAT IF THIS WERE YOUR SHOW.

The weirdest thing is I think this is a video made by the "official" sina broadcaster of My Hero on the web, which means this is kind of like, an official fanvid. What's hilarious about this video is (well, first, the song they choose) the very end, where the photographer tells them to both sit on the disco ball. "It's going to break," says Bo Ran sort of hesitantly, and then the photographer is like no, no it won't.

The MY HERO boys of both years doing mentor-building with some special needs kids. It's really cute, and reminds me of the original purpose of MY HERO, which is nice boys doing nice things, not necessarily the gay.

He's harder to hear than even Little Bun's question session. He's so full of earnest and-- earnest. But he loves pandas, so I love him too. He's asked the same question, by the way. Jin Bo Ran and Fu Xin Bo repeat a ridiculous medicine advertisement in their native dialects.

They're asked to reenact their argument from the MV. Bo Ran fucks up, and then he forgets his lines, and Little Bun pulls his big brother act.

If you only watch one fanvid, watch this one. Fanvid that mixes and matches pictures, broadcasts, interviews, clips from the music video, and the boys doing their thing in a ridiculous explosion of affectionate gay. I think this is a part of a whole series of fanvids made by this person, which all together is sort of a fan documentary of the BOBO relationship set to romantic music. Anyway, I didn't realize just how affectionate they were until this video, actually. It's incredible. A tad on the long side, but well worth it to see Bo Ran kissing Little Bun's hand, all the hugs, and that great moment where Bo Ran finishes Little Bun's sentences.
